Girl Dinner is a photo shoot done for The STARGIRL Magazine. Inspired by Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic
Sex and the City quote: “When I first moved to New York and was completely broke, sometimes I would
buy Vogue instead of dinner… I just felt like it fed me more”, Adinda explores girlhood through women’s relationships with material objects. By staging Barbie toys and accessories as dinner plates and cocktail drinks, the shoot reframes consumption, fantasy and emotional nourishment through a distinctly
feminine lens.
