Girl Dinner: An Exhibition is an extension of The STARGIRL Magazine. Inspired by Carrie Bradshaw’s
iconic Sex and the City quote: “When I first moved to New York and was completely broke, sometimes
I would buy Vogue instead of dinner… I just felt like it fed me more”, Adinda explores girlhood through women’s relationships with material objects. By staging her magazine as a menu book and her accessories as dinner and cocktail offerings, the exhibition reframes consumption, desire and nourishment as emotional and aesthetic experiences.
